Western Norway University of Applied Sciences is recruiting a PhD Research Fellow in Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility, jointly hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences (https://lnkd.in/eZWg4BXR) and the Department of Computer Sciences (https://lnkd.in/eKAaJFvK). You will be part of the Sustainable Mobility Research Group (SUSMOB https://lnkd.in/eemekM6Y), with strong links to EU projects such as Just Streets and STREET-15.
𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗵𝗗, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹
• 🧭 Develop GIS + Python/R + GeoAI/ML toolkits using real-world cases of transport justice and inequality
• ⚖️ Turn mobility justice theory into computational models that can support policymakers
• 🤝 Co-create tools with stakeholders, bridging transport planning and software engineering
